Both moisturizing and good for sensitive skin Jan 27, 2010
This product can no longer be found in stores because it has been replaced by a new Dove product "with Nutrium." I love the old product, but the new product with Nutrium irritated my skin. I stocked up on the old version with six bottles from this seller.

Gosh, good product... lots o' clean up Jul 21, 2008
I admit, I bought this product because I 1) am a huge fan of Dove products and 2) am a huge fan of not going to the store often--it came in a pack of three at a great price, and 3) it said "wash"; my perception of wash is something that comes off easily.

It is good. Smells fine, moisturizes, and does what a gal needs it to do (shave with, etc.). It is, however STUNNINGLY thick and sticky. So gooey, in fact, that I have a plunger in my shower pretty much weekly to deal with the goo.

I live in a low-lying area with a septic system and extremely soft water, so these things can be issue for me, but it is worth noting that this stuff creates bath-tub rings and drain scum like nobody's business. Might be GREAT in the midwest of USA with its hard water.

Wow. Clean-up is a bonus as it is almost like a workout without the gym fee in my clawfoot tub with soft water running in it!

Anyway -- it is a good product. Might not be the best for me but if I buy it again I will get an extra tub-crud scrubby along with the purchase. :)
