The Chalet is approximately 6 1/2" tall (floor to top of boot) with a 7/8" thick sole. The Chalet fits true to U.S. women's sizing. If you usually wear a 1/2 size, order the next full size up (a 7 1/2 should order an 8). Emu Ridge Australia's Chalet Ankle boot features: Emu's unique Micron 20 100% Australian Merino Wool lining (not a blend); suede upper; a reinforced, dual stitched upper & heel counter for added comfort and strength; a comfortable EVA outsole to cushion your feet. The Merino Wool allows excess body moisture to escape as vapor through the sheepskin for dry comfortable feet. The Chalet is a wonderful addition to your winter wardrobe. It is recommended to treat boots with a water-proofing spray for suede products before wearing outdoors. The Clausette's Shipping Information: Provide a physical U.S. address for shipping (we ship within the continental U.S., Hawaii, and Alaska). We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, or internationally. Product will ship from northern California via UPS Ground. Expedited shipping will be via UPS 2nd day air (not recommend for customer's in CA, NV, UT, AZ since UPS Ground is already 1-2 days shipping).

Emu's Chalet boots are a soft, comfortable, and warm. You can wear them with or without socks. I live in Indiana and these boots are great for cold weather and a light dusting of snow. For deeper snow I reach for my EMU Australia Women's Suede Shark Lo Boots (the rugged sole makes these the ideal snow boot)! I highly recommend Emu Australia's products! They are very similar to the ever-popular Ugg Australia boots, but at a more affordable price.

Just got mine yesterday and they fit so perfectly without socks. There would still be room for socks if I want to wear them, but I really wanted to just wear them barefoot so that I could feel the wool. They keep my feet toasty. I usually wear a 5 1/2, and got the size 5 and they are plenty roomy. Now I want to buy a pair for everybody for Christmas!

I bought this because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Didn't go with the UGGS because I am not paying $120 for no boots. SO I got these they are confortable but they look ugly on your feet. I feel like big foot. I don't like the soles they feel cheap and the slippery. The inside the fleece material is cheap.

I love these boots. Sitting at my computer in winter my hardwood floors just radiate cold (yes even in California). These boots keep my feet warm and yet are not restrictive for ankle movement. Love them!
