I love these shoes! they hold up well under the wear and tear of a toddler and I find them easy to get on and off.
Although you pay a little more, I feel they are worth the expense.
I would also recommend other brands of the same style as well.

These shoes were great for my son when he was learning to walk. We had a horrible time trying to find shoes that fit him. He has wide feet with high arches and chubby legs. Since he had never really worn shoes, these were a great start. The bottoms are sturdy enough to hold up to all the walking. They clean up easily, and are easy to get on. The only problem was my son's chubby legs, making the elastic tight on him. Great shoes for a first walker!!

I ordered quite a few pairs of Robeez when Amazon had a great sale. I love these shoes they are so comfortable and machine washable. Great shoe for baby and toddler.

These are great! They look exactly like the picture. I was worried about them being white and how dirty they could get, but they wash right up in the washer and look brand new again!
