best shoes ever Jan 18, 2008
By Michael V. Mcquade I am in the US Army and just as you assume i run alllll the time. Since i joined the army over 8 years ago i have tried different shoes to see if i can find a better brand than Saucony but i cant. I know its all about personal opinion but every one i can convince to spend a little extra money and buy a Saucony shoe realizes that they are the best. When you run an average of 25-35 miles a week it does matter what you wear. So if anyone is wondering if they are worth the money believe me they are!! Its all about performance and Saucony is the epitomy of performace. Thanks

Light and very breatheable Jan 05, 2008

If you are the type of runner that every time your foot strikes the pavement it sounds like you are wearing clown shoes...this could be the best shoe for you. This shoe seems to automatically roll my foot forward without the slapping sound providing me with a more comfortable gait. The shoe is light, the tread holds up great and the breathable mesh allows for excellent air flow. (watch for puddles!) Also some brands seem to put pressure on my joint below my little toe but the sides of this shoe has good support to keep my feet snug but also gives a little when my weight is on the ball of my foot. This shoe has helped my running and my feet and shin muscles are less sore. Its design seems to allow our natural foot shock absorbers work in tandem with the shoe.

Great running shoe Jul 18, 2007
By Claire This is my husband's second pair of this style shoe. He ran a marathon in June and wore these shoes and greatly improved his time over his last marathon. He highly recommends them and requested another pair for his birthday. This is also the best price anywhere.

THese are excellent. The shoe is comfortable and appears well made and lots of cushion for gout and bursitis sufferers

Great shoe, even for the running "non-runner" Jan 30, 2008
By Alan Holyoak This is my first pair of running shoes....and...
WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!
By the time I hit about 6 miles on the treadmill I can usually feel it in my knees, but with these shoes thre are no complaints from my feet at all! These shoes are light. They are easy on your feet. And, they have PLENTY of cushioning.
Also, I can't say that's all in the shoe, but I ran my first 5K about a year ago (before I got these shoes), and now, a year later, I've been able to shave over 2:30 off of my first 5K time...all shoe? Maybe not, but they definitely help! I'm not up to leaping tall buildings with a single bound, but at least now I have a chance at clearing small buildings with a running start.
On a more technical note. These are great shoes for a "neutral runner." That is, someone who exhibits neither supination (has ankles that tend to flex outward slightly at the ankle) nor pronation (has ankles that tend to flex inward at the ankle) each time their foot strikes the ground as they run.
Even if you are only a casual runner, good shoes are a must. And, these are great shoes. They are the most expensive shoes I've ever owned, but they were well worth the price. In fact, I'm so sold on these shoes that I just ordered a 2nd pair to have in reserve for when these wear out.
Good luck, and happy running!
