Shoddy Product Oct 18, 2007
By Sippian This product does not work well with someone who values mobility, quality, and ease of use. You must be extremely careful when using it - otherwise, one or both of the prongs holding the connection in place will break. This product is not sturdy and cannot withstand normal usage, especially not in a car/traveling environment.

broke after 16 seconds Dec 03, 2007

"someone who reads everyday"
The first time I tried to use this charger, one of the prongs broke off immediately. I was shocked because I had read that it is fragile and to be careful, and so I was being very gentle. Still, it broke. I am very disappointed.

CLA-60 Defective out of box Aug 12, 2007
By Goodwrench I purchased the Sony Ericsson Cigerette Lighter Adapter CLA-60 with a new Sony phone. It would not charge the phone or the light would not work the first time plugged in. I emailed SF Planet who promptly sent me another along with a pre paid return label. The replacemet works. The Sony adapter is not made very well, the light switch is very delicate.

An unfortunate flaw. Jul 28, 2007
By VAS This product has a flaw that, unfortunately, has compromised the integrity of my Sony Ericcson 810i mobile phone. I ordered two of them for two family members. The first time I used the first one, just 5 days ago, when I went to remove it, two clips disassociated from the charger and remained in the charging port of the phone. These are very fragile plastic clips. I had no choice but to push the charger back onto them in the hope that they would click into place on the charger itself and be able to be disengaged from the phone. This has happened only with one of the clips. This means that I cannot use the house charger or the music earphones with my phone. Further, I have to remain with this car charger attached to avoid having that single unmoving clip break off in the phone port, thereby disabling the phone seriously. I have reported this problem to Sony Ericcson by email. The other charger has remained unopened until I sort this out.
