Outstanding value Dec 28, 2007

You would think that since the price is so low it's got to be a crappy shoe right? Think again; I've bought unlisted for my husband over the years with the cheapest being around 80 dollars. (Getting these for 25 dollars shocked the heck outta me.) Then I saw them here on amazon and could not believe how wonderful the shoes are. My husband is loving them they are true to size, you will not be disappointed I promise. I ordered them on a Monday and got them on Friday. You'll love these shoes for yourself or the loving man in your life. :)

Great Value for Business Casual or Casual Shoe Dec 23, 2007
By JR I originally bought these shoes because they were semi-dressy and very inexpensive ($25/pair) so that if I happened to step in a puddle of salt water slush, I wouldn't be too heartbroken ruining the shoes. These shoes have turned into a pleasant surprise.
This shoe is well suited for casual or business casual attire not real dressy or formal. After about a week of wearing to work and travel, these shoes have become extremely comfortable to wear. So much so that I prefer them over everything else I wear right now for everyday wear. The rubber soles give it great cushion as well as traction on snow covered walkways.
There is a break in procedure that I used to make these shoes very comfortable and good looking. 1. New shoe leather is stiff and upper part of the shoe or "tongue" dug deep into the front of my ankle and made it sore at first. I took the edge of the tongue and bent it backwards so the inner part of the leather touched my ankle That fixed it. 2. I coated my shoes with mink oil to weatherproof it. It turned the tan shoes into a deeper antique like brown that is much more attractive and not so artificial looking.
Overall, these shoes are a great buy and a joy to wear (at least on my feet).

Decent shoe for the price Jan 12, 2008
By D. Henry They were OK; I have a feeling that the sole will wear out in less time than your average shoe. They seem a little too soft, and probably not suited for daily wear.

Good but don't last too long Dec 11, 2008

These shoes were a great price and I recommend for anyone who will not be wearing them a lot. My hubby wore his often and they seemed to wear down very quickly. I think they lasted just under a year and then the soles started coming apart. I am new to men's shoes so I am not sure what the norm is, but this seemed a little bit faster than what the norm should be. Still a very nice looking shoe and a great price.
